Tottenham ended the season on a high note, having secured the runner-up position in the Premier League. All the players contributed to the success and are looking to continue in the same vein next season as well.

Their campaign have been almost perfect with little flaws to point at. However, there are a few things the Spurs needs to change next season to further improve the quality of their play in every department on the pitch. Here is a list of certain areas Tottenham can improve on next season:

Increase attacking options-

Tottenham have the most formidable weapon in the Premier League at their disposal. It is None other than Harry Kane who has won the Golden boot two seasons in a row. The England international has been in excellent form, with his shooting and finishing quality comparable to none, handing the advantage to his team over the opponents. However, it would be better if there is another shoulder to share the goals scoring responsibility, other than Kane’s, next season. Then the attack would be more efficient, making Spurs’ attack a threat.

Find the right replacement for Walker should he leave the team-

Kyle Walker is a transfer target for a number big clubs across Europe and might be saying his goodbyes at White Hart Lane this summer, leaving Spurs with an empty space in their defence. The Argentine tactician is very much aware he could be losing his star and is already out in the transfer market searching for the perfect replacement for the right-back in case he decides he’s had enough of Spurs. Though Kieran Trippier took up the position for the last part of the season and did decently well, it is quite likely that Pochettino will want to fill the position with a new face and make the team stronger in anticipation of the next season. Reportedly, Adam Smith from Bournemouth has been linked with a return to his former club in the summer.

Find a good fit for the left back position-

Danny Rose, the England international, has played the left-back position excellently well in the Premier League this season. However, he might be moving out of White Hart Lane this summer, with Tottenham reportedly  looking to replace him with Fullham’s Ryan Sessegnon next season.
