Three players who can make Jurgen Klopp Liverpool’s FC a threat to other Premier League clubs.

Liverpool had high prospect of claiming the title glory until the turn of the tide at the beginning of the year. Their loss of form cost them the top spot on the table. They now sit at the fourth place, 13 points behind league leaders Chelsea and with ten games to go, the title seems un-achievable. However, the Reds’ fans strongly belief that Jurgen Klopp can lead the squad to win the Silverware. To achieve this, they need to reinforce their squad. The German tactician will be taking a lot out of the coffers to sign quality players who could help the Reds win the title next season. Here are three players that should be Klopp’s top priority this summer:

Mahmoud Dahoud (Borussia Monchengladbach):

The German midfielder is one of the best in his position. He has been heavily linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund and Juventus. Liverpool have also been in pursuit of Dahoud for almost a year now and with his future uncertain, the Anfield outfit would be hoping to sign him. Their shortcomings in the central park have been a weak point causing them to lose points and some games. Dahoud’s style of play will conform to Jurgen Klopp’s system. His presence at Anfield would put Liverpool back in shape and restore them to their winning ways.

Virgil Van Dijk (Southampton):

Liverpool fans are desperately hoping Southampton star Virgil Van Dijk would be a part of their next season campaign. The Dutch had been on an injury enforced leave for the whole of last month but he has been highly impressive in the league this season. Despite been linked with a move away from Southampton in January, Van Dijk could prolong his stay at the club. He is also a transfer target of Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City.

As per reports, Liverpool are already in negotiation with the 25-year-old and are assured they would be able to convince him to move to Anfield. Should he agree to a deal with the Reds, he would join Joel Matip at the back and make their defense hard to penetrate.

Lorenzo Insigne (Napoli):

The 25-year-old attacker is presently one the most outstanding players in the Serie A. Insigne’s performances have endeared him to many including Arsenal and Chelsea who are now also in pursuit of him. Liverpool have also indicated interest in the Italian and if they should succeed in bringing him to Anfield, they could once again become as strong as they were.

The Reds have previously been linked with the likes of Alexander Lacazette, Timo Werner, Inaki Williams and Moussa Dembele but what they need is a player who will fall in with Jurgen Klopp and Insigne seems to be the best possible option. Insigne has found the net 13 times and set up 10 assists in all competitions this season. The playmaker has had a good run, and he could be the answer to Liverpool’s striking problems. His technical ability will be of advantage to Klopp’s side.
