North London club Tottenham Hotspur are one of most in-form team in the Premier League this season and the club manager Mauricio Pochettino has bring together a superb team that can achieve great things in the future. Pochettino loves to invest on young talent that he can mend in his own ways and needs such players to stay at the White Hart Lane for years to come for his plan to work. So the Argentine boss is expected to keep the core of the side at the club next season.

However, a couple of star players from the club have been heavily linked with an exit. French forward Hugo Lloris is one such player who might leave White Hart Lane at the end of the season. Even if he stays with the club for another year, at age 30, he is not a long term solution and Pochettino will surely have an eye on potential replacements. The question now is, who can replace Lloris at Tottenham? Here are three top choice the North Londoners can spend on if they let the Spaniard leave in the next couple of summers:

Joe Hart (Manchester City):

Manchester City goalkeeper on loan with Torino is the current first-choice goalie for Gareth Southgate in the English national side but he is unable to find a club in England that is ready to stick with him. Hart has recently revealed that he wants a move back to England and with Tottenham in need of immediate replacement, he is not at all a bad option for the Spurs. Having record a brilliant five clean sheets in his first ever season in Italy, the England international has shown he is still one of the best shot-stopper in Europe and Pochettino could make use of his skills if he wants a quality replacement for Lloris who is now a 30-year-old.

Mattia Perin (Genoa):

The only goalkeeper on the list who is yet to play for any club in England. Perin is a popular figure in England as he has been constantly linked with a number of Premier League teams. However, he has managed to stay in Genoa and has continued to impress everyone with his performances between the sticks. This campaign, he has registered six clean sheets to his name and he has a record of 1.78 ratio per goal which is more than just being decent. His distributing accuracy of 63% will also attract Pochettino. Hence, the 24-year-old is surely a long-term option to replace Hugo Lloris at the White Hart Lane.

Jordan Pickford (Sunderland):

The England youngster has without doubt been one of the best goalie on viewing in the Premier League this season. Having kept three clean sheets playing for a club battling with relegation – 20th place in the epl table – the 23-year-old has already made himself a name in the Premier League and Pickford saves per goal ratio of 2.24 is right up there with the best goalkeepers. This makes him of the most effective players in his position in England this season. Biggest clubs in the country are keeping close tabs on him. Tottenham need a player who can walk into their first team in a year or two and he seems to be the best option at the moment.
