Manchester City and former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola has made two changes to his side for this afternoon’s Premier League game at home against Tottenham Hotpspur, with Aleksandar Kolarov and Leroy Sane starting.

From the lineup give, John Stones is dropped, with Bacary Sagna not included in the squad.

City’s new signing Gabriel Jesus is also on the bench as he will be included in the matchday squad for the first time, while Vincent Kompany and Fernando will be amongst the substitutes.

As far as the team news is concerned, Guardiola’s side are still left without Fernandinho, who is missing through speculation, while Kompany, Fernando and Ilkay Gundogan are our injured.

Goalie, Cladio Bravo with start in goal, with the back four consisting of Pablo Zabaleta, Kolarov, Nicolas Otamendi and Gael Clichy.

Ivorian Yaya Toure is at the base of midfielder, with a quartet of Raheem Sterling, Sane, Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva operating ahead of the him. Argentine Sergio Aguero leads the line for the Sky Blues.

Guardiola will be determined for his side to bounce back from the 4-0 defeat that they suffered against Everton last weekend, with City now languishing ten points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea.

Tottenham have been in excellent form of late – they have won their last six Premier League game in succession – and Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be full of confidence as they arrive at the Etihad Stadium.
