Antonio Conte has reiterated that his side winning the Premier League title will be more prestigious than breaking and setting new records. A temporary setback in September has done nothing but to rejuvenate them and pushed them towards the title in a way they too may never have envisaged.

Having set a new club record of 1t straight wins, the Blues are on course to set a new Premier League record of 14 wins on the trot after equalling Arsenal’s record of 13 consecutive wins – a record that had stood for 14 years- in their last match, a 4-2 win over Stoke City.

Currently sitting at the summit of the league standings with 49 points, the London club have been stoppable and have conceded only four goals since September, scoring 32 goals in the process.
Conte’s men will face London rival Tottenham on Wednesday evening as they attempt to go one better than Arsenal’s record. But they have an in-form Tottenham on their way.

Will Tottenham finally get the better of them after Chelsea had halted them twice in less than one year? The Blues ended their title bid last season and their unbeaten run this season.

Mauricio Pochettino’s team are in impressive form presently with Sunday’s 4-1 thrashing of Watford making it five wins, 18 goals scored and four conceded in their last six league games since they were defeated by Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea is expected to win the match but beating Tottenham at White Hart Lane will not come easy. Stoke City gave them one of their toughest match last week and the Lilly Whites may prove a far tougher opponents.

Conte is expected to stick to his 3-4-3 formation while Pedro will return to the starting line-up after missing the last match through suspension.
