Many of Aston Villa fans took to social media to rave over the performance of goalkeeper Orjan Nyland after he played a huge role in the 1-1 draw at home to Reading on Saturday afternoon.
The Villans kept up their unbeaten run to the new season but were forced to share the points against Reading instead with thanks to an added time penalty goal from Sam Baldock, after Ahmed Elmohamady’s goal gave the home side the lead six minutes into the second half.
Despite his goal scoring display it was Nyland’s performance between the sticks who had many talking on Twitter, more especially the goalkeeper’s double save to keep his side in the clash.
Football Weeks has rounded up a selection of Aston Villa’s fans tweets:

Need another CB. If not for Nyland’s double wondersave, we might have lost! And although PK is soft, why is Chester even going in there? #AVFC

Next up, Aston Villa travels to Burton on Tuesday to take on the Staffordshire’s club for the second round of Football League club and would be hoping Orjan Nyland shows more impressive performance between the sticks to help Villa secure another win.
