Rangers fans doesn’t seem surprised to see Aberdeen lose at home against Celtic in Sunday’s Scottish Premiership clash and think their upcoming derby against Celtic will be made-or-break in the title race.
Brendan Rodgers’ men restored their lead at the top over their bitter rivals to nine points in the table ahead of their meeting on 11th of March before meeting one last time after the split.
Aberdeen have now lost all six fixtures with Rangers or Celtic this season and their run of defeats against Celtic now stretches to ten games.
Rangers fans waste no time in putting the blame on Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes but think their upcoming fixture at home against Celtic will be crucial – with among the Rangers fans saying two wins from two against Brendan Rodgers’ side’s a “must win” for them.
The Blues face St. Johnstone on Tuesday night in the Scottish Premiership and could at – if luck on their side – go back to six points off Celtic in the table with a win at at McDiarmid Park before the Hoops play the following night.
Both Rangers and Celtic have a Scottish Cup quarter-final next weekend before going head-to-head at Ibrox in a match that will have huge consequences for the destination of the league trophy at the end of the season.
