F/W’s view

Chris Sutton is right to be pleased with the idea of his former club offering Tierney a new deal. Tierney has been one of the most consistent players in Scotland over the last couple of years and his contract extension is completely merited. It is smart business as more teams have surely kept an eye on the full-back due to his impressive performances in the Champions League this season. Tierney will now be out to impress as the Hoops face a tough task when they welcome Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich to Celtic on Tuesday night. It is set to be a difficult night for the youngster but he has proved on numerous occasions that he is up to the challenge.
