There’s some more great fixtures this evening in the Carabao Cup and one of the most eye-catching is Doncaster Rovers’ trip to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The Keepmoat outfits will have surely found it hard to concentrate on their league form over the past few weeks, knowing that their clash against the Gunners was around the corner and now that it’s here, they’ll be looking to cause an upset.
Indeed, we’ve already seen Premier League giants go out to lower league teams this season in the competition but if Donny were to pull this off they’d surely earn themselves the shock of the season so far tag.
The North London side manager Arsene Wenger, then, will be eager to make sure that doesn’t happen to avoid the fans getting on his back and, though he’ll likely make changes, the side will still be strong.
We’ve been thinking about who could play for the Gunners against Rovers tonight, then, and, though the likes of Reiss Nelson could get a look-in, most of the players to feature will likely be first team chargers anyway.

The 25-year-old England international has struggled with injuries in recent seasons and has fallen down the pecking order. This also resulted in Wilshere spending last season on loan Bournemouth, where he played regularly before suffering a fracture which ended his season prematurely in April.
Here, then, is the side we expect the Gunners to play and the one that Darren Ferguson is going to have to find a way to beat tonight:
