Liverpool are having some brilliant time in the Premier League. The Reds still have a great chance to qualify for the Champions League next season and will need to be on their toes in the upcoming transfer market in order to compete with top sides in the years to come. The Anfield giants have made some questionable signings over the years and have spent mouth-watering fees on players who do not fit at the club.
However, they have also found some genuine stars who are still helping them this season. Liverpool are not traditionally a club which spends big on European players but they have certainly added some quality players to the first team recently. Here are two of the best such signings from Liverpool in recent times:
Sadio Mane:
It is hard not to mention the difference Sadio Mane has brought to Liverpool lineup. With Sadio Mane in their starting XI, the Reds had only just one game, a stat which tells its own tale. It is ironic that both Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana were bought from the same club. The likes of Matip, James Milner, Emre Can, Divock Origi also deserve special mentions for their never giving up performances for Liverpool.
