Former Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira has revealed who he wants to battle with in the Champions League final, should his present side Juventus see off Monaco in the upcoming semi-finals.

The German World-Cup winner wants the chance to take on his former side Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final, in what could would be one of the best final derby to day. Khedira spent five years with Real Madrid, it’s no surprise that the German would want to face his former side.

Khedira speaking to German media outlet, Bild via ForzaItalianFootball, said: “I have a dream: to play in the Champions League final against Real Madrid and my friends Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.

“We need to put in a great performance against Monaco as their attack is very good and quick.”

However, Juve star recognizes that making the final is no sure thing for Juventus, as the French side could cause Serie A giants problems, with their quick attacks with Radamel Falcao and not to mention future superstar Kylian Mbappé, who has scored home five goals in Monaco’s European campaign.

If Khedira’s side are to defeat Monaco and progress through to the Champions League stages, it will be no easy for Massimiliano Allegri’s side, as the reigning Champions have proven time and time again that they will continue fighting to the very end.
