Predicted Leicester City Lineup To Face Crystal Palace with Wilfred Ndidi to start for the Foxes when they take on Crystal Palace.

Leicester City have found some great form after sacking former boss Claudio Ranieri earlier this year and are now 11th in the EPL Table, not too far away from a place in the top half of the league. A victory this weekend can push them forward into the top-10 but they will face the most in-form team in the tournament in Crystal Palace. The Eagles have won 4 of their last 5 league games, including wins against Arsenal and Chelsea recently, and they are sure to put on a fight at the Selhurst Park this weekend.

Craig Shakespeare’s side will be high on confidence but they will have to take the initiative if they are to bag all three points from this clash. The Eagles are 6 points off the drop zone and will not mind earning just a point from the game but the visitors are expected to go for a victory.

Team News:

As far as the Foxes news is concerned, they are still without Nampalys Mendy, Molla Wague as the duo are both ruled out for a long time. Also, skipper Wes Morgan will be absent from the game tomorrow while midfielder Wilfried Ndidi is expected to be back in action.

Expected Starting Lineup:

Manager: Craig Shakespeare

Formation: 4-4-2

GK – Kasper Schmeichel

The 30-year-old has been impressive for the Foxes this season and should start between the sticks when they visit Selhurst Park.

RB – Danny Simpson

The first-choice full-back for the Craig Shakespeare, Danny Simpson, will have a tough take on hand facing the in-form Wilfried Zaha in this game.

CB – Yohan Benalouane

Due to absent of first-choice centre club Wes Morgan, Benalouane should take his place and start at the back for Leicester City.

CB – Robert Huth

With Wes Morgan out of this game, Huth will have to take up the senior role for the Foxes at the back. It will be interesting to see how he handles Benteke.

LB – Christian Fuchs

The first choice right back for Leicester City, Fuchs has been in solid form on the wing and the manager should stick with him for this tie.

RM – Riyad Mahrez

The Algerian has not been consistent this season but the Foxes will need him to be at his best if they are to take anything away from this game.

CM – Wilfried Ndidi

Though not fully fit yet, Ndidi is not too far away from joining the training sessions and he should keep his place in the midfield for his side.

CM – Danny Drinkwater

The English midfielder has been solid in the midfield for the Foxes and he should partner Ndidi in the middle against Palace.

LM – Marc Albrighton

The English winger has not been able to replicate his performances from the previous season but this game is as good as anything, for him to be back to his best.

ST – Shinji Okazaki

Though Islam Slimani has done a good job this season, Okazaki has played a better second fiddle to Vardy and should start this game.

ST – Jamie Vardy

Up against an in form Mamadou Sakho, Vardy, who is in superb goalscoring form, will have to be at his best to give his side a shot at all three points against the Eagles.
