The PFA Player Of The Year business is out again and we share some insights on the five nominees. Keep reading on.

The business end of the season is almost upon us and many clubs are still fighting to consolidate their place in the EPL table. Chelsea’s Antonio Conte are winning the title while Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are still dragging the 2nd and 3rd position. Arsenal and Manchester United are fighting Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side for the 4th spot while Everton, Stoke City, West Ham United and Southampton occupy the rest of top places of the table.

There have some underwhelming performances from players from each of these clubs but who has been the best? Reigning champions Leicester City saw their Algerian international winger Riyad Mahrez games named as the ‘PFA player of the Year’ for the 2015/16 season but who is likely to follow the lead this season? Beast of a striker! Romelu Lukaku is the EPL top goal scorer at the moment, he seems to get better game by game this season. He already has 21 goals to his name this season, becoming the first player from Everton to reach that mark in the Premier League. The former Chelsea forward has provided 6 assists to his name. At age 23, Lukaku is easily of the best players this season and is a genuine contender for this award.
