Chelsea’s boss Antonio Conte is well on his merry way to lifting the Premier League title in his first ever season in England having faced and conquers many obstacles and by now, he would be making plans for the next season. Having led the Blues on a 10 point lead already, Antonio Conte’s side are sure to qualify for the Champions League next season and the Blues boss would be looking to bringing in new bloods to further more boost his side for new challenges next season.

Out of many stars that have been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, former Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku will surely be high on the list. Lukaku who’s at his prime at the moment is currently the top goal scorer in the domestic league and is one of the best finishers in Europe at the moment.

Lukaku has 19 goals to his name this season and will be a great signing for Chelsea but Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is also offering him a role at the Old Trafford. Per reports, it suggests that the Red Devils may have moved ahead the Blues in the race for the services of the 23-year-old, thus leaving the Blues empty handed. However, should Chelsea failed in their attempt of luring him to the Bridge, here are three alternatives Antonio Conte might consider in the summer.

Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid):

Though the Frenchman has recently revealed that he is happy in Spain, the Rojiblancos star has extensively been linked with an exit from the club in the summer with Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea all showing strong interest in him. If eventually United got Lukaku hijacked, Chelsea could make use of Griezmann talent in their squad if they can break the bank for him.

The Frenchman standing as one of the most prolific goal scorer in the game at the moment, he could take the Blues to the next level next season.

Andrea Belotti (Torino):

Another star bagging goal and currently happy with his situation is Italian star, Andrea Belotti. The Italian is gradually growing to become a huge talent and on his way to becoming Italy first choice striker. Belotti is one of the brightest youngsters in Europe who has inevitably been linked with a move to Chelsea.

He has bagged 24 goals and registered 4 assists in all competitions this season for Torino. While in the best form of his life, he would be of high advantage for Chelsea. Report also reveals the Blues have been scouting him for some time now and though he has a release clause of €100m on is new contract, and as we all know Chelsea, the club have by no means been shy in terms of breaking the bank for player recruitment.

Alvaro Morata (Real Madrid):

Morata, the least expensive option on the list, yet could provide the Blues with as many goals as possible in the coming season. He is probably a player Conte would want at his squad this summer. Frustrated with the lack of first team chances under Real Madrid’s Zinedine Zidane, the Spaniard has been looking for an exit this summer and Real manager would be pleased to offer him to Chelsea in a swap deal of either Thibaut Courtois or Eden Hazard, both of who have been on Real radar for long.

However, Conte will not let either of them leave the Bridge. Their financial power, backed by ability to guarantee Morata regular first team football might be enough for Chelsea to land the 24-year-old this summer.
