Antonio Conte has proved every of his doubters wrong so far this season. The Italian manager got to the Premier League completely new to the system, but his handling of Chelsea has shown that is the best manager in the league at the moment.

He has built a formidable team, Solid in every area and they look good for the title. The Blues sit on top the Premier League standings with 34 points. In their last 8 league matches- in which they have won all- have scored a whooping 22 goals, conceding just two goals and kept six consecutive clean sheets.

But there is a particular area the former Juventus boss needs to strengthen and which neglecting could affect their season.

Diego Costa has been influential in the team, scoring 11 goals which made him joint top score with Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez but has more assists than the Chile international. He was instrumental in his defeat of Tottenham and Man City but injury to the Spain international will have adverse effect on Chelsea’s title bid.

Conte need to get a back up for the former Atletico Madrid forward. £30 million summer signing Michy Batshuayi has not really lived up expectations while Eden Hazard may not thrive in the central role as Costa.

The January transfer the window ts around the corner and Conte is expected to make some singings though his team has been prolific, getting another striker should be high on his transfer list wish.
