Chelsea can compound Tottenham’s woes when the two meet in the Premier League this weekend. The Blues have 50-50 chance to inflict their first loss of the league on them. The Spurs have not been convincing enough in most of their matches this season but have been to maintain their unbeaten start to the season in the Premier League.

They were within brinks of suffering their first league defeat of the season, trailing West Ham United 1-2 before a magical moment from Harry Kane who scored a brace ensured that they remained undefeated going into the Chelsea game.

Unfortunately they have been unable to replicate such magical moment in the Champions League and have not been that lucky as they crashed out of the competition.

The White Hart Lane club will still be without their best defender Toby Alderweireld. The Belgian international has been out since mid-September. There had been hope of him making his return at West Ham but he remain sidelined.

Danny Rose is also suspended after picking his fifth yellow card of the season, giving Mauricio Pochettino a selection dilemma at the back as they a rampant Chelsea this weekend in the London Derby.

The London club have not conceded in six league games and have been on a scoring spree which coincided with their switch to 3-4-3 formation after the 0-3 loss at Arsenal.

The Spurs fans are yet to recover from their club’s exit from the Champions League, losing their unbeaten run will be a bitter pill for them to swallow.

It will be a matter of whose will be broken first? Is it Chelsea’s clean sheet and winning run or Tottenham’s unbeaten run?

Not to forget Tottenham were the first team to defeat Man City this season despite their impressive start and it is not impossible to replicate such against high-flying Antonio Conte’s side.
