According to reports in Italy via The Sun, Premier League giants Arsenal are showing interest in Yannick Carrasco and a deal could happen this January.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery is on the look-out to bolstering his attacking unit especially after losing Danny Welbeck to an injury for the rest of the season.
The Sun citing report from Sky Italia, claimed Arsenal are in pole position to sign Carrasco while the reports adds further that likes of Manchester United and AC Milan are also interested in signing the Belgium international but were put-off due to his wage demand of £170,000-a-week.
Yannick Carrasco signed a £25.5 million deal with Dalian Yifang last winter and it seems he is planning on moving back to Europe, with The Metro claiming the 25-year-old would be considering Arsenal.
The Chinese Super League giants are open to receiving offers for the Transfermarkt’s €20m-rated as long as they are able to regain all the money, they payed 12 months ago.
Although there are reports that Arsenal have no money but they will have to give what it takes to build-up a team capable of challenging for the league title and a winger is what they should consider bringing into Emirates Stadium to make up a natural width in the team.
Looking at how brilliant Carrasco was during his days with Monaco and Atletico Madrid, he would be the Gunners best option to replace Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
