Jose Mourinho

Jose Mourinho was a pitifully sad and abandoned figure at the weekend as he watched his toothless Manchester United defence shipped in three goals against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, and this defeat on the south coast has left many fans questioning whether the Portuguese gaffer should remain as manager of the club or not.

Mourinho, who is priced at 4/1 for the sack with BETVICTOR, was visually overcome with anger at some of his players’ defending at the Amex Stadium on Sunday with Eric Bailly earning most criticism during the Red Devils’ shoddy defensive showings.

Now, with the former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss’ reign at Old Trafford coming into question, Football Weeks have pick out four manager that could replace him, should he face the exit at the Theatre of Dreams.

Zinedine Zidane

Having left Real Madrid after his back-to-back Champions League title winning, the Real Madrid and France legend is currently enjoying a well-earned break, but Zidane is believe to relish a chance to show his managerial abilities, should Manchester United comes knocking.

Already proven at a top-class club, the 46-years-old would bring fresh ideas to a stale-looking Man United side, and he is sure to be able to get the best out of Paul Pogba, who appears to be in a constant battle with Mourinho.

Carlo Ancelotti

With over 20 years experience in management, Carlo Ancelotti could offer Man United the much needed experience at the moment, but United’s blow could be the fact that he is currently in charge of Serie A side Napoli.

Having left Bayern Munich last year, the Italian tactician has only been in charge at Napoli since May, so the time may not be right for him to return to the Premier League, having already spent time with Chelsea between 2009 and 2011.

Antonio Conte

Just a month after he hands over the reins of Chelsea to his compatriot, Maurizio Sarri, Antonio Conte could potentially make a swift return to the Premier League. The Italian boss will be eager to get back into management, and will no doubt want to show his qualities as a top-flight manager once again.

Man United fans, however, may feel a little disappointed were Conte to end up replacing Jose Mourinho, as if he is certain to leave, fans would be desperate to have a proven winner as a replacement, preferable with significant Champions League record.

Ryan Giggs

Manchester United legend, Ryan Giggs would jump at the ideal of replacing Jose Mourinho as the new Red Devils boss were he offered the position. Having spent time in managing the club as Louis Van Gaal assistant, Giggs held the interim manager position at United as well in 2014, but he would relish the chance to return as the leader for a club he played his whole career at.

The 44-year-old is currently manager of the Wales national side, but while he would not take the decision lightly to leave his current post, you have to feel a return to United is what he’s dreamed of.

So, Manchester United fans, what do you think. Do you want Jose Mourinho out or not and if yes who would you want as your new manager ? Let us know if the comment box below:
