Hirving Lozano

Hirving Lozano - Football Weeks
Mexico international Hirving Lozano

Mexico will be pinning their hopes on Hirving Lozano, who is a tricky winger that plays for PSV Eindhoven in Holland. At the age of only 22, he has already scored 7 goals in 27 appearances for his country, while this season his 19 goals and 11 assists helped PSV become Eredivisie champions. He has often been likened to Luis Suarez for his skillful style of play, and also for his fiery temper. Lozano has already received 8 red cards in his career so far, but he has promised his nation that he’ll be doing his best to curb his anger at the World Cup.

Kylian Mbappe

PSG’s Kylian Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe burst onto the scene last season in the Champions League when he was playing for Monaco. His goals helped the French side knockout Manchester City, while his performances caught the eye of elite clubs all around Europe. PSG signed the 19 year old in the summer initially for a loan, but for a potential permanent transfer of £166 million, which would make him the 2nd most expensive player in the world. Mbappe has been in scintillating form for both club and country this season, and he will be playing in a lethal attack for France that includes Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembelé.

Andre Silva

Portuguese international Andre Silva

Andre Silva was signed by AC Milan last summer but so far it hasn’t been plain sailing for him, as he was primarily used as a substitute. He did however, feature more in the latter stages of the season, and managed to score 6 goals in 8 games in the Europa League. The 22 year old Portuguese striker will be a welcome addition to the squad, as they look to provide backup to their superstar captain, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford - Football Week
England international Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford is one of the most exciting players in the England set up, despite having a mixed season under Jose Mourinho at Man Utd. The 20 year old possesses pace and trickery in abundance, and is able to rifle in some stunning shots when he’s in the mood, as he displayed against Costa Rica in a recent friendly. When you consider the fact that England have Harry Kane, Jamie Vardy and Raheem Sterling at their disposal, then the added exuberance of Rashford can make for a really potent attacking force at this World Cup.
