Celtic welcome fierce rivals Rangers to Parkhead in the Scottish Cup semi-final on Sunday afternoon.

As defending champions, the Hoops are unsurprisingly big favourites to come out on top to reach the final, but Rangers can’t be ruled out in an Old Firm derby.

Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side have had a straight-forward route to the semis, beating Brechin City 5-0 in the fourth round (Jan 20, 2018), Partick Thistle 3-2 in the last-16 (Feb 10) and Morton 3-0 in the quarter-finals (March 3).

Ahead of Sunday’s meeting with Rangers, the Bhoys are coming off the back of four wins and two draws from their last six games in all competitions.

As for the visitors, Graeme Murty’s Rangers outfit were convincing in their journey to the final four. They beat Fraserburgh 3-0 in the fourth round (Jan 31), Ayr United 6-1 in the last-16 and Falkirk FC 4-1 in the quarter-final (March 4).

Rangers’ recent form leaves a lot to be desired, however, with the away side only recently ending a three-game winless run with victory over Dundee. They’ve lost to Celtic in the last five weeks and haven’t beaten their rivals for two years.

Celtic have won seven and drawn two of their last 10 head-to-heads with Rangers in all competitions. They’ll fancy their chances at home on Sunday.
