The truth behind Michy Batshuayi ‘laughing at Alvaro Morata’s penalty miss’ v Arsenal revealed.
Arsenal continued their wining streak at the Wembley Stadium after defeating Chelsea on penalties in the Community Shield.
The north London club, who defeated Chelsea at Wembley in May’s FA Cup final, secured their first piece of silverware of the 2017-18 season after winning 4-1 on penalties.
The contest finished 1-1 after 90 minutes, Sead Kolasinac equalising after Victor Moses gave the Blues the lead, but Chelsea were woeful in the new ABBA penalty format, Thibaut Courtois and Alvaro Morata both missing the target from 12 yards.

Their misses allowed Olivier Giroud to fire him the winning spot kick. So, the match was no the best starts to his Chelsea career for Morata, then.
He joined Chelsea in a £70 million deal from Real Madrid following Romely Lukaku’s decision to sign for Manchester United. Antonio Conte opted to start Michy Batshuayi ahead of him, with the former Juventus striker replacing his teammate in the 74th minute.
But after fluffing his lines from 12 yards, there are some Chelsea fans hoping Conte will change his mind about selling Diego Costa.
If we aren't buying any new players we need to keep Costa. Conte will get sacked and then at least we'll have idolo ready to fire

When a Man United fan posted a video of Batshuayi laughing after the Blues’ defeat, writing: “Batshuayi laughing at Morata”, many immediately thought the Belgium man was genuinely laughing after his rival, and his teammate, and his rival to start up front for Chelsea, missed his penalty.

But he couldn’t have been laughing after the Spaniard’s miss. he had been subbed off during the match, and so would have been on the sidelines during the shootout.
And look in the background. The empty seats shows the video was taken during the Community Shield trophy presentation, not during the shootout.
It still leaves the cause of Batshuayi’s laughter unclear. But he wasn’t laughing at Morata.
After the match, Conte asked Chelsea fans to be patient with Morata, who is still settling in at Stamford Bridge.
“Morata needs to work, but it is normal,” the Italian said, per Sky Sports. “He stays with us for only one week and it is very important to find a good physical condition and to understand our idea of football.
“He needs a bit of time but that’s normal and it’s the same for [Antonio] Rudiger (who was also a substitute). It will be the same also for [Tiemoue] Bakayoko (who was not involved).”
Chelsea fans – there’s no need to be worried just yet.
