Jurgen Klopp was all smiling at his side performance last weekend as they got all three points from Middlesbrough in the final game of the season, helping themselves to a place in the qualifying round of the Champions League next season. The Reds at the disposal at Anfield is a bit weak and the German boss has some serious plans for his side this summer.
Liverpool has been linked with some of the best stars around Europe and with Champions League football to offer, Jurgen Klopp might be able to land a few new signings this summer when the transfer window opens. With a huge transfer budget to spend from, we have fished out three players with Champions League football experience who the German boss can invest on this summer:
Douglas Costa (Bayern Munich)

The Brazilian winger is one of the best players both in his domestic league and beyond at the moment but is deem surplus to requirement at the Allianz Arena. Costa is looking for regular football and is ready to leave Germany this summer. Also, Serie A champions Juventus have recently missed out from the race of signing the Brazilian. Costa is an ideal very good player and if Liverpool can invest on him, the pace of Sadio Mane on one side and Douglas Costa on the other could form a very good partnership in the Premier League.
Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon)

The Frenchman is one of the most prolific goal scorer in Europe at the moment and is just the kind of player Liverpool have lacked this season. With instinctive finishing being the Frenchman biggest strength, he has already revealed that he is finally set to leave Lyon for greener pasture. However, Liverpool are bound to face competition from Arsenal who’re interested in his signature but with the lack of Champions League football at the Emirates, Lacazette would prefer a switch to Anfield this summer. Lacazette in their ranks will add goals and another dimension to the Reds attack.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal)

Though the Englishman is not the big name that Liverpool fans are dreaming of, Oxlade-Chamberlain is actually a smart signing for Liverpool. He is capable of playing in more than one position. He is still not the first choice under Arsene Wenger and it is hard to see him playing for Arsenal for another season. Ox contract runs out at the end of the next season so the Gunners might be forced to sell the Englishman and Liverpool is not at all a bad destination for him.
