Craig Shakespeare’s Leicester City will be on high hopes to pull off a miraculous turnaround when they take on Spanish giants Atletico Madrid at the King Power Stadium in the second leg of their quarter-final clash of the UEFA Champions League.
The reigning Premier League giants will have to overturn a one-goal in return, after losing 1-0 to the Spanish side at the Vicente Calderon. However, the Foxes have always managed to get better in such scenario having getting better of Sevilla in the previous round under similar circumstances, the belief with the Foxes squad this time will be high. They’re heading into this game on the back of a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace in the Premier League and will be hoping to put up a better performance.

The Foxes biggest blow this time will be defensive rock Robert Huth, who will miss the clash due to suspension. However, captain Wes Morgan has returned to full training and may take his place in the line-up. Leicester’s centre-back Yohan Benalouane was taken off due to a known received against Palace in the weekend, but it seemed more of a precautionary measure and he is expected to be available.
Also, Striker Islam Slimani is likely to miss out due to a groin injury, while midfielder Nampalys Mendy is still not 100% fit. Molla Wague has been ruled out for the season.

The Tunisian man has been performing high in the absence of Morgan. Benalouane is expected to keep his place in the starting XI despite an injury scare over the weekend.
Christian Fuchs (LB)
Christian Fuchs full-back runs and long throws could prove to be the key for the Foxes to beat stubborn Atletico defence on Tuesday night.
Riyad Mahrez (RM)
The Algerian man hasn’t had the best of his form in recent weeks, but Mahrez class is undoubted. The reigning PFA Player of Year will need to step it up a notch if his side are to stand a chance against the Spanish side.
Danny Drinkwater (CM)
Drinkwater was rested during the weekend clash game against Crystal Palace keeping Champions League football in mind. He should return to the starting XI in place of Andy King.
Wilfred Ndidi (CM)
The Nigerian international has been a major influence in proceedings since the sacking of Claudio Ranieri and taken over of Craig Shakespeare. Ndidi will maintain his place in the middle of the park alongside Drinkwater.
