It has been earlier speculated last month that the Red Devils were showing strong interest in the 27-year-old, having previously come close to securing his signature when David Moyes was in-charge of the club.
Granit Xhaka to Bayern Munich Transfer Score: 1.9

Hitzfeld, who had two seasons managing Bayern, made the claimed to Sport Bild, starting:
“Bayern certainly has Xhaka on the radar.
“Xhaka is always a topic for current top clubs and his development is not yet complete.”
The 24-year-old has found it difficult in getting used to life in the Premier League, having just seen the net three times and registering just one assist in all competition for the Gunners this season.
