Mauricio Pochettino brought good fortune to Tottenham as the club have been going head to head in the title challenge since his emergence as the manager in 2014. Spurs missed the title last year by a very small margin and they might finish in the top four this season as well as they now occupy the third position on the table with ten points behind League leaders Chelsea.

To increase their chances of winning the Premier League title next season, they need to reinforce their squad and the most defective position Pochettino needs to improve on is the wings. He was only able to sign Moussa Sissoko to the flanks in the summer and Sissoko performance has been below par so far.

Given Tottenham’s need for a speedy winger, here we pick out three wingers that would fit the perfectly and should be pursued by the North Londoners this summer transfer window:

Here are three wingers that would fill the gap.

Wilfried Zaha

Zaha has been targeted by Spurs since the summer last year but have been unable to agree to a deal with him.

Zaha has been the few highlights Crystal Palace have had and their best player this season. The 24-year-old has four goals and six assist to his name in 22 League appearance. His ability to weaken the defense of the opposition and his speed makes him a good consideration.

Riyad Mahrez

Mahrez’s season has not been fruitful as his club is now at the bottom of the Premier League table but his playing skill is invaluable and he would be a great addition to any club that acquires him.

He has experience both at low and high stages of the game as he has scored four goals in the Champions League and three in the Premier League.

The 26-year-old has great dribbling skill and can also hit from distance. His addition to Spurs would improve the club.

Demarai Gray

Gray is yet to make a name for himself in the game but his future looks bright. The 20-year-old has made few appearances this season due to his boss Claudio Ranieri not having faith in his ability to work as a team. The English youth international has two goals and two assists to his name this term but if the opportunity arises he could prove worthwhile.

Gray is known for his speed and has most of his career ahead of him. He would add value to the Spurs and Pochettino should put him into consideration.
