Saido Mane is expected to lead Liverpool’s attack against Hull City as the Reds look for their first win in five matches across all competitions and first league win in 2017.
The Reds who are now 10 points behind league leaders Chelsea have only won once in nine games in all competitions and none in their last four league match putting a dent on their title challenge.
After losing three home matches consecutively, a much-improved performance against Chelsea at Anfield in the midweek saw them secured a draw and will be aiming to bounce back better against the Tigers. Liverpool won the corresponding future, thrashing Hull City 5-1 at Anfield.
With a full squad at their disposal now, Jurgen Klopp must rediscover the form that made a strong face to reckon with before the turn of the year. Mane’s availability will also assist in pushing it and he could return to starting line-up having started the Chelsea match from the bench. The Senegalese returned from the Africa Cup of Nation earlier this week.
With his attacking trio that terrorised defence in the first half of the season fully available again, Klopp could bring them back together again on Saturday for the first time since November.
Adam Lallana will shift back to his box-to-box role alongside Gergino Wijnaldum, with Jordan Henderson providing defensive protection while Simom Mignolet continues in goal.
However, new Tiger boss Macro Silva has won all his home games across all competitions since taking over from Mike Phelan in January. Hull are the only Premier League side yet to keep a clean sheet at home this season.
