According to recent reports, Liverpool star Adam Lallana has been heavily linked to sign a new deal with the Anfield club.
Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana have been rumored to sign a new deal with the Reds.
There are two different reports circulating in the British media and it is not certain which is right and the Anfield club is yet to release an official statement on the subject.
Express in a report on 29th of January, claimed that the English man has agreed to a new four-year contract worth £120,000-a-week, £25million.
Later that same day, The Sun claimed Lallana is set to sign a new Liverpool deal that will take up his wages up to £150,000-a-week, £31.2million, with the reported new deal believed to last till 2021.
The 28-year-old has been outstanding for the Merseyside this season. He scored 7 goals this season in 24 appearances. Adam’s resilience and progression over the past few years earned him England Player of the Year 2016 award.
Lallana is as much an asset as Coutinho but the Brazilian is by far a better playmaker than he is, Philippe has been a constant figure for the Reds since joining the club four years ago whereas Lallana has only shown consistency this season.
With this Lallana, does not deserve to be paid higher than Coutinho.
