According to reports coming from The Sun, Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion are eyeing a move for Aston Villa target Nick Powell this summer with SPL champions Celtic also been link with the former Manchester United star.
Villa were linked with a move for the ex-Manchester United talented midfielder who’s plying his trade with League One Wiga, but the move failed to materialise due to Financial Fair Play restrictions.
Steve Bruce had previously had the 23-year-old on loan from Manchester United when he was in-charge of Hull City in manager. Celtic are also said to be interested in the play-maker, who has been attracting interest in England’s third tier.
The Championship side were linked with a move for the talented midfielder of League One Wigan Athletic in the January window, but didn’t have much room in which to manoeuvre because of Financial Fair Play restrictions.
Reports are claiming Celtic can win the race to sign Powell as he would be guaranteed of European football. The winger has scored 12 goals in 32 appearances to date this season. His current side are also still in the FA Cup at the quarter final stage.
