Two of Man United outcasts could be on their way out of the club and more could still follow them signalling a spending spree by Jose Mourinho. Both Memphis Depay and Morgan Schneiderlin have been linked with a move away from Old Trafford and they could leave in the coming days.
Jose Mourinho has agreed to sell the duo who has been linked with many clubs and the latest reports said France international Schneiderlin is presently having medical at Everton and a deal of £22 million has reportedly been agreed.
The 27-year-old midfielder was signed for United by former manager Louis Van Gaal from Southampton for £25 million in July 2015. He has featured 47 times but has been limited to just eight appearances, including three in the Premier League under Mourinho this season.
If the deal goes through, Schneiderlin will be reuniting with manager Ronald Koeman. The two worked together at Southampton for two years. Koeman is also interested in his team mate Memphis Depay but may have to battle with French clubs Lyon and Nice.
Reports from France claimed that both the two clubs are interested in the services of the 22-year-old Dutch winger but the fees could scupper the deal. It is learnt that Man United will only do business if the fees are right and Mourinho has reiterated that the forward will not feature the club until his future is resolved
The £25 million signing from PSV in 2015 also by Van Gaal has failed to hit form at Old Trafford and has made only 10 appearances this season
