Manchester United have had a mixed season so far. The Reds have been off balance and the results have not been in their favour. They are tipped as one of the favourites to win the Premier League but that looks both difficult and impossible to achieve presently. A return to the Champions League may be their only hope but even that seems like an uphill task to accomplish.
With one-third of league matches already played, United have accumulated only 20 points and winning the remaining 25 can only pass for a mere wish. They are 11 points off the summit of the table and 8 points off the top four. Their draw against West Ham at Old Trafford made it their worst start to the season in 26 years and are two points closer to the relegation zone than they are to the top.
Their attack stat is the worst in the top six. They have scored only six goals in their last seven matches and have only scored more than two goals in just three matches this season. Their current position on the table doesn’t represent the integrity of the club.
Their performances has made their odds to win the title to be outrageously high and are now 33/1 to win the league and 11/4 to secure a spot in the top four.
Their next opponent, Everton is no walk over, even though the Merseyside too are not finding it rosy at the moment. United have failed to score in three of their last four visits to the Goodison park, so a win there might not come easy.
