Cheikhou Kouyate completed 90 minutes for West Ham United in their victory over Huddersfield – and the club’s supporters ripped into him on Twitter for his performance.
The London club registered their first points of the season on Monday night as they beat the newly promoted Premier League club 2-0 at home in the Premier League.
The Hammers had to wait until the second-half until they broke down their opponents as Pedro Obiang and Andre Ayew netted two quick goals.
Slaven Bilic’s side took a huge wright off their shoulders after they lost their opening three games and a return to the London Stadium brought them good luck.
However, some of among the Hammers fans were still frustrated after the game and highlighted the performance of Senegal international Kouyate.
Fans believe that the central midfielder really struggled in front of goal and some suggested he should only be used as a defender.
Football Weeks has rounded up come of the best tweets among the fans:
Kouyate worst player tonight, awful footballer, seen rhinos with more technical ability

Kouyate has to play CB. Good driving forward with the ball at times but useless technically. Shame we couldn't get Carvalho to play CM

If Kouyate could kick a football properly he'd be a really good player.

Cheikhou Kouyate got his first start of the season for the Hammers against the Terriers as Bilic made five changes to his side, including the return of fan favourite Andy Carroll.
His side dominated much of the game, but failed to make their chances count until the half-time.
The Senegalese was guilty of being wasteful in front of goal and on one instance completely scuffed an effort in the penalty area after Carroll knockdown.
The midfielder will hope to retain his place in the starting XI for the Hammer upcoming match against West Bromwich Albion, despite much criticism from fans over his technical ability.
Cheikhou Kouyate was used as emergency defender for much of last season, but has moved back to his more accustomed defensive midfield role this year.
