PL giant meet Celtic for Moussa Dembele

According to a report, Premier League side Crystal Palace has contacted Celtic with an enquiry about the prospect of signing Moussa Dembele.

The report is according to The Sun who are suggesting that Roy Hodgson‘ aside have contacted Celtic about the possibility of signing the young French star, but as at now, the British tabloid said no bid has been made.

The report from the aforementioned outlet goes on to suggest that although the Scottish might not be considering about parting with their prized asset in January, a mouth watering offer from the PL side could force the Hoops to selling Dembele.

The France under-21 international has been subject of intense transfer speculation since the opening of the winter transfer window this month, but as yet no club has submitted a bid for his signing. Dembele recently confirmed he’s committed to staying at Celtic until the end of the season.

Dembele, 21, had a brilliant start to the season with Celtic, netting 32 goals for the Bhoys in his first season across all competitions. In the present campaign, he hasn’t find his scoring form due to an hamstring injury in July.

The rumours surround Dembele’s future continue to gather momentum as the window still remain open, but the once again, the report from the Sun has just confirmed there hasn’t been any confirmed bid made the Frenchman. There must have been frustration with the club and player at this stage with just two weeks until the window get closed.

Reported interest from any club needs to be completed this week as that would give Celtic enough time to find a replacement for him. The longer it takes the more likely Dembele stay at the Parkhead until the end of the season.

In order Celtic News, Hoops manager, Brendan Rodgers has confirmed the club’s interest to make Paris Saint-Germane on-loan striker Odsonne Edouard to club’s most expensive transfer in a £7million move to make his temporary contract permanent with the club.
