Sandro Ramírez needs time

The Merseyside supporters were extremely excited when they signed Sandro Ramirez for £5.2million from Malaga in the summer, but the Spaniard has made a slow start to life at Goodison Park.

The 22-year-old former Barcelona star already has a lot of pressure on his shoulders and may need some time to develop to English football.

Sandro Ramirez was highly ineffective against the Blues and rarely threatened the opposition’s defence, which saw him substituted in the 62nd minute.

He was returning from an injury and that may have played a role in his poor showing, but his performances weren’t too much more thrilling before the setback.
