Antonio Conte has hype praises on Eden Hazard for his brilliant performance and for the defensive work he put in for his side during Chelsea’s 3-1 win over Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The Blues were in top form as they secured a pleasant winning over their local rivals to seal their spot as to win the Premier League title this season.
The Belgian international was in brilliant form and his man of the match display helped to inspire Chelsea to victory as he scored a superb second-half goal at Stamford Bridge.
However, despite the former Lille forward earning much appraisal for his attacking display against the Gunners, the former Juve boss chose to praise Hazard for doing his defensive duties well against Arsene Wenger’s side.
Conte, speaking to Chelsea’s official website after the game said: “He scored a great goal. He showed great shape today because if you haven’t a good shape, it’s very difficult to score this type of goal.
“We all know his talent and his strength. He’s a really, really talented player. He’s a really good man also, a good boy.
“Today, above all, I am pleased for his work without the ball defensively. He played with great attention and concentration.
“When we are able to work together in this way it’s simple for us.”
Chelsea’s win left them nine points clear at the top of the Premier League table and as the firm favourites to win the title this season.
