Celtic Suffers Massive Injury Blow Ahead Of Europa League clash

Both Celtic and Tom Rogic have been dealt a blow with the news that Celtic’s U-23’s fixture against Motherwell has been postponed.

The according to the Daily Record, the newspaper claims that the club’s U-23’s were due to play this evening and the Aussie was set to feature for the club.

The midfielder was set to play in an attempt to boost his fitness as he eyes a come back for Brendan Rodgers’ side in Thursday night’s game against Russian side Zenit St Petersburg.

Snow at Morton’s playground means that the game against Motherwell will not take place tonight.

A serious knee injury has kept Rogic sidelined out of Rodgers’ team for some time now, he has not played in the Scottish Premiership since early December.

He was an unused substitute against Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup at the weekend, but the player did not play in the game.

Rodgers nearly brought him in the second half but then decided to play Eboue Kouassi rather than the 25-year-old.
