Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic could be on his way out of Parkhead this summer, as the Bhoys have three players more than capable of replacing him, says the Daily Report.
The 25-year-old is contemplating whether or not to extend his stay with the Glasgow giants and is reportedly in talks with the club hierarchy.
The Australian international’s current deal with Celtic has less than 18 months remaining, and his future at Parkhead is uncertain amid rumours he’s rejected a contract extension.
Rogic’s exit could see the likes of Ryan Christie, Callum McGregor and loanee Charly Musonda -coming in to replace the attacking-midfielder.
Manager Brendan Rodgers is planning to extend Ryan Christie’s contract for another year, having impressed on loan at Aberdeen in the last 13 months, so he could challenge for a starting place next season.
Rogic has struggled with injuries at Celtic this season but somewhat proved his worth with an equaliser in the Hoops’ 3-2 win over Rangers earlier this month. He’s also scored and created 13 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions.
Rogic exiting Parkhead would be a blow to Celtic fans, who love his eye for a wonder goal and ability to rise to the big occasion.
However, the perennial Scottish champions have a strong squad and plenty of attacking players so they should cope in his absence.
