Tottenham are reportedly trying to make an offer which will hijack the transfer of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot to Barcelona, according to Football Weeks sources.
According to French source Paris United, Spurs have approached PSG with a bid, though the France international seems to be keen on the idea of leaving Par des Princes for Nou camp.
Despite that, Tottenham fans would be looking forward to seeing their club put more effort, with Rabiot certainly one of the skillful players in Europe.
The 23-year-old has been a central player for PSG through the years and could be a huge loss as he might be leaving already for another club.
Rabiot, who is rated at £45m by Transfermket, could turn-out to being a possible long-term replacement to Sergio Busquets at Barcelona, but Tottenham could also have made a gainful use of him to boast their midfield after the departure of Mousa Dembele to China.
