#2 Manchester United
The red half of Manchester is having a little better season by their standards. Manchester United players have been little average in the EPL and even though they’ve won the League Cup, they will end the season outside the top five in the Premier League. They’re seeking for a chance back to the Champions League by winning the Europa League against Ajax later this month.
The Red Devils will be strongly active in the transfer market, like they have been in the past couple of seasons, their last summer signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic is out of contract this summer and is suffering an injury which will keep him out of action till early 2018.
David de Gea is likely to leave Old Trafford and join Real Madrid while the heart of the midfield is ageing and poor when compared to other top sides in Europe. The likes of Wayne Rooney, Luke Shaw and Matteo Darmian’s future with the Red Devils are also in question at the moment.
There could be new faces in defence also with Jose Mourinho expected to bring in a new centre-half and a full back to his existing squad. There could be big name additions so that there could a chance for them competition for the League and be a force in Europe as well in the upcoming season.
