Football Weeks looks at three Belgian players who could serve as major problems for Jose Mourinho and his side on Thursday night as Anderlecht players will be hoping for more celebrations when they face United.

YOURI TIELEMANS

Anderlecht midfielder Youri Tielemans has been strongly linked with a move into the Premier League this summer. He has been one of the most exciting prospects in Europe, the 19-year-old made his Champions League debut at age 16 and has been the Belgian side most creative player, with an eye for goal.

If reports are anything to go by, Tielemans is likely to continue his brilliant form with Tottenham Hotspurs or Everton in the summer as he’s strongly been linked with both clubs recently.

ISAAC KIESE THELIN

With Anderlecht 28-goal leading scorer Lukasz Teodorczyk out of team injured, Sweden international Kiese Thelin will lead the Belgian side’s attack.

The 24-year-old made the move to the Belgian side from Bordeaux in January, but has he is yet to fully adapt to life in Belgium as he as just scored 2 goals in 22 appearances for Anderlecht this season.

FRANK BOECKX

Frank Boeckx Anderlecht keeper has been in fine form for the Belgian side and his expected to be behind the sticks when his side take on Manchester United.

Before he joined the Belgian side as a free agent and third-choice keeper, Boeckx considered quitting and traveling the world.

However, also tipped as ‘Frank the Tank’, the 30-year-old is now thriving as the Belgian side first-choice goalkeeper.
