Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has featured the same starting line up in his last six league games and could make it seven in a row when they host Tottenham at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
The Blues have been flying high with their new 3-4-3 formation and each player of the first team has been impressive so far, making it difficult for some established stars of the club to find their way back to the first team.
Club captain John Terry is one of the stars to have feel the heat. The former England skipper has been limited to the bench since his return from injury though he has linked with Man United, leaving the club in January is unrealistic.
However we look at players that should exit the club in January to save their career.
The Spaniard has lost his place in the midfield with summer arrival N’Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic forming a formidable partnership. He started just one league game this season and has been linked with many clubs who are interested in his service. Conte has insisted the former Arsenal captain has a future at the club. Only time will tell if indeed he is needed by the club.
The Brazilian has not started a Premier League game since mid-September. He is a target for Italian club Inter Milan. At 25, he need more playing time.
John Obi Mikel
The Nigerian skipper has not kicked a ball for Chelsea since his returning from the Olympic games in Brazil and has been reportedly told by Conte he could leave the club. He has not been able to convince the Italian boss and seem surplus to requirements.
The Serbian lost his starring place to the rejuvenated Victor Moses. He was Chelsea’s best right back for many seasons but has been phased out this season after dropping in form. And with the return of Kurt Zouma, his days are numbered at the club.
