Arsenal would be in great form when they take on Hull City at the Emirates with Hector Bellerin and Danny Welbeck who’ve been out of the team since last summer are both fit for the clash.
The season is fast turning into yet another trophy less season for Arsene Wenger, the French boss side have taken just three points from their last three games, losing heavily to the league leaders Chelsea in the previous rounds of the competition.
Arsenal have fallen down the pecking order in the last couple of weeks and the north London club are set to face a tricky test this weekend when they welcome Hull City at the Emirates.
Marco Silva’s side have now notched 7 points in their last 4 games against the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea and hoping to put in a similar performance in this game. Arsenal who have lost a bit of form recently will have to be at their best when they take on the Tigers this weekend.
Playing at home, the Gunners will start the game as favourites to take all three points. Here is the predicted lineup that Arsene Wenger might field for this tie:
Arsenal are still left without playmaker, Santi Cazorla and Aaron Rasmey, both of whom are out of the squad injured. Also, the club last summer signing Granit Xhaka is still suspended while right-back Hector Bellerin is back on his feet after bagging a knock in the game against Chelsea.
Former Deportivo La Coruna’s Lucas Perez is also expected to be back in action for this clash. Mohamed Elneny is back from the African Cup of Nations and is expected to be pushed into the first team straight away due to absentees.
Expected lineup (4-2-3-1):
